The company Pivnica Cajkov is located in Čajkov, a small town in Slovakia, nestled in the Štiavnica hills, a geographical area that is deeply affected by the influence of the volcanic soil. Winery founded at the end of the nineteenth century, for years it has been one of the major wine producers of the area and has always influenced the wine and winemaking events of Čajkov. Today the winery is led by Marek Uhnák, under whose guidance it has undergone strong development and a change of direction in recent years. In fact, his philosophy is to approach the vines with respect and humility in perfect harmony with the forces of nature and the influences of every single vintage. Its wines draw their origins from a long family tradition and the awareness that the only way to produce "honest" wines is to understand all the potentials of the territory of Cajkov and adapt to it.
