The Toblâr Winery is located in Nimis, a town in the province of Udine. Born in 2000 from the initiative of Cristian and Michele Specogna, who in addition to working in the family company, Specogna, wanted to try a new adventure. Two hectares of vineyards located in the most suitable areas of the Colli Orientali del Friuli and the Isonzo area. Lands with a high oenological vocation that can boast a thousand-year history since Roman times. Here the vine has found the ideal conditions; grows on the so-called Ponke, land consisting of an alternation of layers of marl and sandstone, which provide conditions for obtaining high quality grapes, is protected from the cold winds of the north by the Carnic Alps and Julia also, the Bora sweeps away the moisture that it could be a source of cryptic adversity, and the Adriatic mitigates the temperature. Toblâr produces wines with the classic Friulian grapes; Ramandolo, Sauvignon, Pinot Grigio, Ribolla Gialla, Schioppettino, Cabernet Franc. The philosophy is aimed at enhancing the terroir and its wines, in the name of tradition and excellence.
