Producer Villa Dora

Villa Dora is located in Terzigno in the heart of the Vesuvius National Park, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. The company, which bears the name of the owner's wife, was founded in 1997 by the will of Vincenzo Ambrosio to build, at the foot of Vesuvius, a winery not only with vinification but also receptive functions. Today Vincenzo is helped by his children Giovanna, Alberto and Francesca who work with the same enthusiasm and passion. Villa Dora stretches over eight hectares of vineyards, to which are added five hectares of olive grove, with a south-west exposure at an altitude of 250 meters overlooking the spectacular Valle dell'Inferno. Most of these vineyards, grown organically, are made up of old plants of more than forty years, reared with the typical system of the Vesuvian pergola: tall and powerful, which gives shade to the heavily grassed ground. Villa Dora immediately focused on the production of local autochthonous vines, such as Falanghina, the Code of Volpe, Piedirosso and Sciascinoso.
