Producer La Cave des Nomades
FRANCIA, LANGUEDOC-ROUSILLON
The company was founded in 2011 by 2 musicians, José Carvalho from Portugal and Paulina Srzednicka from Poland. Josè and Paulina believe in natural wines produced without manipulation, without the addition of SO2, vinified with indigenous yeasts, and no filtration before bottling. The Cave des Nomades is spread over 3 hectares cultivated with autochthonous varieties of the Languedoc-Roussillon, such as the Grenache Noir, the Grenache Gris, the Mourvedre and the Carignan. In the vineyards no mechanization is possible, all the work is done by hand with the traditional Catalan instrument called "xadic", no pesticides or chemicals are used, but only sulfur powder to fight diseases, and biodynamic preparations to nourish the vines . Numerous wines are all handcrafted and laced to the territory that stand out for freshness, minerality and balance, but also for the extravagant labels made of cork.
