The Mattia Filippi winery is located near Faedo, in Trentino. Mattia is an enologist who turns Italy and Europe to suggest to other companies how to make perfect wines. In 2008 he decides with his wife to undertake a new challenge and open a whole winery, with the intention of making people aware of the emotions they experience through wine. Its vineyard is located in Casteller, an isolated hill south of Trento, with steep sides, with a row of cypress trees that rises from the bottom of the valley to the top, with the vineyards arranged in a girapoggio. The excellent exposure of the Casteller vineyard allows the Cabernet Sauvignon to reach perfect ripeness. In his small cellar, Mattia, he uses steel tanks for vinification and from the French and American oak barrels for aging. The wines produced by Mattia Filippi are two: Underthesky and Equinotium. Two wines able to enhance a land, Trentino, which painstakingly expresses its potential.
