The company Cavallotto is located in Castiglione Falletto, in the heart of the Barolo area, on Bricco Boschis. Winemakers for generations, the U family was one of the first and in the Barolo region decided in 1946 to make wine from their grapes and to come out in 1948 with their first label. Today the company extends for 25 hectares including 23 of vines and vineyards, some of which reach an 'age of seven years, have a south, southeast and rest on sandy soils can give elegance, finesse and longevity to the wines. Today is masterfully conducted by three brothers Alfio, Joseph and Laura U, who brought a new air but with an eye on the family tradition dedicated to the attention to the environment and to the traditional vinification of the wines. Numerous varieties produced, which perfectly embody the terror characteristic of the Langhe.

Dolcetto by Cavallotto is a red wine obtained from the homonymous grapes from the Scott vineyard. It is traditionally vinified with natural yeasts and aged in concrete tanks for 6/8 months. Ruby red color, the nose has characteristic aromas of red fruit with a marked cherry and a slight background of floral bouquet. In the mouth the general structure and softness are good.
