Taschlerhof is a small company located in Bressanone, in the Isle of the Valley, which has been affirming in recent years as one of the most solid and reliable realities for lovers of the pure soul of the Isarco Valley. The winery is owned by Peter Wachtler, one of the younger winegrowers in South Tyrol, who unquestionably adds the touch of genius that makes its wines unique. Peter does not care about quantity, but each one produces a small number of bottles in order to have control over the quality he reaches by working manually in the vineyard and continually comparing with vintners from all over Europe. The hectares of vines are four, and are located on southeast oriented slopes with good exposure to the sun on glorious soils that give the particular and intense mineral note to the wines. Brewed vines are only white berry like Sylvaner, kerner and Gewürztraminer. Wines that affine in acacia and steel barrels and continue fermentation until the next spring. Taschlerhof's wines are pleasing, with a universe of nuances, fruity bouquet and an incredible mineral vein.
