Producer Bosco Falconiera

Bosco Falconeria is located 60 km from Palermo on the beautiful hills near the Gulf of Castellammare. Family-run business since 1933 when it was about 12 hectares large and during the harvest worked up to 30 people. The crisis affecting Sicilian agriculture, but above all the earthquake of the '68, led to a partial abandonment of the cellar. But with the arrival in the 80's of Antonio Simeti, an agronomist, and Mary Taylor Simeti, who begins to import the first news on organic farming from the United States, the company gets new lymph. Today, the vineyards are biodynamic 17, and fruit trees, hazelnuts and olive groves are grown. Meanwhile the family has expanded and now we find ourselves; Natalia with her Finnish husband Rami, a teacher from Tai Chi Chuan, and Erissa and Besnik, native to Albania, who live in the company and together, with Saverio, her right arm. The company's spirit is to safeguard biodiversity, to improve soil through green or organic fertilization for sustainable agriculture for the environment and for humans.
