Producer Michel Chapoutier

The Chapoutier winery is located in Tain l'Hermitage in the Rhone area of ​​France and their history can be traced back to 1808 when Polydor Chapoutier bought his first vineyards and started the real business. In the mid-20th century Max Chapoutier led the company, until his retirement in 1977. From this date his sons Michel Chapoutier and Marc Chapoutier working on the vineyards under biodynamic conditions and, the improvement of the quality of the wines, led the company at the highest levels of world oenology. Numerous denominations produced throughout the Rhone area and their flagship wine is the Hermitage, both red and white, produced with Syrah and Marsanne grapes.
