SICILY
Nica is a Sicilian word meaning small, nica Vigna is in fact a small Sicilian winery run by Maria Genovese. He cultivates his dream of 3 hectares of vineyards are located in the province of Messina and facing the Aeolian Islands. The varieties bred, all with the organic farming method and techniques of 'biodynamic agriculture, are Nero D'Avola, Nocera, Nerello Mascalese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Grillo and Inzolia. Three wines produced: Mamertino Rosso produced with Nero d'Avola, Nocera and Nerello Mascalese; Mamertino Bianco done with Grillo and Ansonica and Pomarazzo Red produced using the grapes of Nerello Mascalese, Nero d'Avola, Nocera and Cabernet Sauvignon. The production is artisanal, and all the bottles are numbered by hand.
