The Company AgricolaCalatroni born in 1964, when Louis Calatroni, driven by the end of his sharecropping contract, decides to buy the vineyard of his former employer. In the following years the business grew and developed under the guidance of Fausto and Marisa Calatroni: in its third generation of winemakers, the company today combines the experience of the traditional wine-making and modern agricultural techniques that young brothers Cristian ( 34 years old) and Stefano (29 years) have made professionally and passione.Le continuous technical improvements and quality advances have allowed the full development of the grapes from the vineyards, located in the municipality of Montecalvo Versiggia at an altitude of between 180 and 320 meters above sea level, in an area particularly suitable for growing different grape varieties. This is the contribution to the growth of family Calatroni Oltrepò Pavese, land full of potential yet to be discovered.
