Producer Parvenu Wine
AUSTRIA
Parvenu Wine’s vineyards are special: pristine, natural, and scattered across the southern Weinviertel, between Ollersdorf, Hohenruppersdorf, and Großengersdorf. They are outsiders, and they like it that way. They don’t follow conventions, spin fairy tales, or take shortcuts. Their approach is simple: authentic, honest, and respectful of nature. They love their vines, their grapes, and everything that revolves around them. They are self-taught, with their hands in the soil and minds full of curiosity. They chose the Weinviertel—rather than the more renowned Wachau—because they found the perfect place here to craft their wine: vineyards immersed in nature, abundant sunshine, and ideal conditions for grapes to ripen at their own pace. They intervene only when strictly necessary: minimal intervention, maximum drinkability. No pesticides, no artificial constructs. They let the vineyard, the vintage, and the grape speak for themselves. The result is a natural, sincere, and vibrant wine, made to be drunk and shared. It is for sitting at the table, for conversation, for laughter and tears, for celebrating, debating, and storytelling. Even their presentation defies the rules. The upside-down label, handmade analog designs, and a deliberately unconventional identity reflect the same philosophy found in the wine: authenticity above all else. Parvenü doesn’t want to be just another bottle on the shelf. It is an invitation to view wine from a different perspective—and, above all, to uncork, pour, and share it. Parvenü. Wine from the Weinviertel. Natural, authentic, no-frills. We intervene only when strictly necessary: minimal intervention, maximum drinkability.
