VENETO

Il Guscio d’Oro is a small, family-run winery rooted in deep tradition—a place where wine is not merely fermented grape juice, but an authentic story of history, nature, and passion. Founded by Andrea Marotta, the winery carries on a legacy that began long before his birth in 1992; the true story started in 1970, when his grandfather—armed with strong hands and an unconditional love for the land—began cultivating the lush vineyards of Portegai. After earning a degree in Agricultural Science from the University of Udine, Andrea mastered the art of winemaking firsthand, experiencing the harvest and immersing himself in vineyard life among the rows of vines in Valdobbiadene. Today, Il Guscio d’Oro represents a perfect blend of respect for tradition and a drive for innovation. Vineyard work is carried out with the utmost respect for nature’s rhythms, aiming to capture the authentic, honest flavors of the Asolo Hills in every glass. Each drop of wine offers a journey through history and taste, grounded in a precise agronomic strategy: 80% of production is dedicated to showcasing indigenous varieties such as Glera, Bianchetta, and Rabbiosa, alongside elegant international grapes like Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenère, and Merlot. Choosing Il Guscio d’Oro means embracing a story spanning over fifty years—a legacy sustained by the hope that, with every single bottle, one can sense the love, dedication, and hard work that drive this extraordinary estate.
