Producer Domaine Antoine Lienhardt

FRANCE,BURGUNDY

Located in the vibrant heart of the Côte de Nuits, between the giants of Gevrey-Chambertin and Nuits-Saint-Georges, Domaine Antoine Lienhardt represents a return to the origins of a family with ties to Burgundy since the 19th century. After a long hiatus, in 2011 Antoine took over the vineyards from his great-grandfather Maurice Guyot, bringing with him a wealth of experience gained in Chablis, Chambolle-Musigny, and South Africa. The heart of his philosophy beats between the rows: since 2016, the winery has converted to organic and biodynamic practices. For Antoine, caring for the clay-limestone soil and respecting the lunar cycles is not just a production technique, but an ethical act towards an ecosystem that thrives on substrates of precious oolitic limestone. This ancient rock, capable of retaining moisture and restoring freshness, is the secret to the chalky minerality that defines his wines. His cuvées, like Les Plantes Aux Bois and Aux Vignottes, are small masterpieces of artisanal precision. They are Pinot Noirs that eschew opulence in favor of verticality, crisp fruit, and subtle elegance. Each bottle signed Lienhardt is a restitution: the liquid story of four generations that today finds its voice through a vibrant, vibrant viticulture deeply rooted in the land.
