Producer Glow Glow

GERMANY, NAHE

Glow Glow is an acronym for family passion and winemaking tradition. Our history begins in 1855 with the founding of Weingut Baumberger, a small mixed farm that has today evolved into a winery dedicated to the production of high quality wines. Proud to carry on the legacy of previous generations, combining the experience and wisdom of the fifth and sixth generations of the Baumberger family with the freshness and innovation of Mandel. Located in the beautiful Nahe region, our winery embraces the principles of organic farming, managing 14.5 hectares of land in a sustainable and environmentally friendly way. Their winemaking philosophy reflects their commitment to purity and authenticity: they work to create wines in which nothing is added and nothing is taken away. This approach allows them to enhance the vividness and complexity of their grapes, ensuring that each bottle captures the essence of the terroir and the unique character of their wines.

Glow Glow's Spatburgunder is a red wine made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes. Its production involves two weeks of carbonic maceration, which helps preserve the freshness and fragrance of the grapes, and aging in large old barrels (1200 and 2500 liters), which allows the fruity character to be integrated with softer and more complex nuances. The result is a fresh and aromatic wine, characterized by notes of cherry popsicle, hibiscus, and wild strawberries, which create an intense and inviting fruit profile. Perfect for those seeking a young, fresh, and aromatic red, Glow Glow's Spatburgunder is ideal as an accompaniment to light dishes such as appetizers, cured meats, fresh cheeses, or poultry and fish dishes.
