The Taurasi Riserva di Perillo is made from Aglianico grapes that come from old vineyards over a century old. It is a wine of great structure but also endowed with great finesse. Fermentation occurs spontaneously in steel tanks and wooden vats left open, and refines in cask and barrique for about 8 years and for many others in the bottle. A wine that on the nose offers intense and elegant aromas of ripe fruit, cherry and blackberry, and notes of spices, cocoa and licorice. On the palate it is of great structure, warm, enveloping, with excellent freshness and flavor. Dense and soft tannins with a long persistence.

Aging: 8 years in cask and barrique.
