Don Franco by Tenuta Macchiarola is a red wine that is produced only in the best vintages. The name "Don Franco" is in honor of Domenico's father-in-law. The nose is vinous and deeply fruity. Unodinoi is an enveloping and drinkable red wine that comes from Primitivo grapes. It ages for 18 months on fine lees with continuous batonnage and decanting. The nose releases aromas of red fruit, with menthol notes and herbaceous hints of Mediterranean scrub. In the mouth it is soft and full-bodied, with beautiful freshness, with a delicate tannin, and with a finish reminiscent of small red fruits and licorice.
