The Domaine Pierre Frick with its Pinot Noir Stein is confirmed as an indispensable point of reference on the Alsatian landscape. The place called Stein, which in German means stone and defines the stony ground of this place, is located at the top of the Bollenberg hill. After a 3-week maceration, it ages in 225-liter Burgundy oak barrels for about 18 months. It exhibits a floral, delicate, very free nose. The mouth is full, juicy, straight, mineral, fruity, defined. A great Pinot noir, in exemplary balance, lymphatic and mature. And what's more, interminable.
