Intense ruby. The nose is broad and pleasantly rich, with hints of berries and more pungent spicy notes. On the palate with good body, persuasive and excellent persistence.

Himmel auf Erden by Christian Tschida is a red wine that comes from a blend of Zweigelt and Cabernet Sauvignon. Spontaneous fermentation in open vat with maceration of about two months and aging in large oak barrels. No clarification, filtration or stabilization and no addition of chemicals. The label is a tribute to the Austrian artist Alfred Hrdlicka.
