Vin de France Blanc "Melon" by Domaine de la Cadette is a wine made from Melon grapes, a white grape variety originating in Burgundy that for many centuries has been snubbed in favor of more commercial and international varieties, such as pinot noir and the chardonnay. Domaine de la Cadette, with the aim of enhancing this indigenous grape variety, vinifies the melon grapes in purity, leaving the wine to mature in steel on the lees for five months. The result is an unusual and unexpected product. Intriguing.

Quartz Blanc is a wine that comes from sauvignon blanc grapes that come from a vineyard planted on soils rich in sand and quartz. The grapes ferments in used barriques, where they are subsequently aged for 18 months. As soon as uncorked, the nose is shy with light notes of green apple. A little bit of oxygen is enough and it explodes with notes of brown sugar, cinnamon, celery, cucumber and a hint of nutmeg. Vibrant mouth with acidity that guides the sip, accompanied by notes of white peach and sage. Long finish.
