Producer Clos Lapeyre

FRANCIA, JURANCON

For three generations the Larrieu family has dedicated itself to farming and cattle breeding. All the harvest was given to the local cooperative. It was only in 1985 that it was decided to make the first vinification. Currently the company is owned by Jean-Bernard Larrieu and his father Marcel and they cultivated 17 hectares of white grape vines such as Petit Manseng, Gros Manseng, Courbu and Camaralet, on the steep slopes facing the Pyrenees. In 2005 they switched to certified organic viticulture and from the vintage 2013 to the biodynamic one.
