Valfaccenda is located in Canale, on the hills of the Roero, a UNESCO heritage site since 2014, where the landscapes are enlivened by nervous profiles and the soils are of sandy origin. The company was founded in 2010 and is managed by the couple Luca Faccenda and Carolina Oggero who started their project to renovate the grandfather's old farmhouse and restore the old family vineyards of Arneis and Nebbiolo, class 1982, after taking a degree in oenology in Alba, he began to "make his bones" in a prestigious winery in Barolo. Carolina, on the other hand, worked in Turin as a graphic designer, and her contribution to the company is immediately evident from the splendid labels she designed. Today Luca and Carolina manage 4 hectares of vineyards divided between two vineyards: one facing south, located in Santo Stefano Roero, which receives the sun all day and gives rich, warm and ripe grapes. The other facing east, in Val Faccenda, a small valley between Canale and Cisterna.

Valfaccenda's Roero Arneis is a fresh and vibrant wine that ages partly in steel and partly in barrique. It has a strong straw yellow color. The nose expresses aromas of ripe and exotic fruit with mineral hints. On the palate it is warm, tasty, characterized by a lively freshness and a long and savory finish.

Alcohol content: 13%.

Aging: 6 months in steel tanks (70%) and 4 months in barrique (30%, then all in the bottle for a few months.

Roero di Valfaccenda is a highly expressive red wine that comes from Nebbiolo vines, coming from the Loreto, Monpellini and Valmaggiore vineyards. The vines, placed at variable altitudes and exposures. the grapes, after the manual harvest, are brought to the cellar, and here they are gently crushed and destemmed, except for a 10% that remains in whole bunches, to then carry out the alcoholic fermentation, in stainless steel containers with maceration on the skins After the racking continues the aged for 12 months in wooden barrels. A wine with an intense ruby ​​red color. The nose is fruity and slightly spicy, while the sip is fresh and juicy, with a docile and well-sculpted tannin.
