Liguria

Liguria is a wine region located in northern Italy bordered by Piedmont, Tuscany, Lombardy and France. The Pigato by Rocche del Gatto is a white wine obtained from careful vinification with skin maceration of Pigato grapes from vineyards that rest on clayey and rich in iron soils. It is vinified as if it were a red berry wine fermenting for three weeks in contact with the skins in order to make it acquire the maximum organoleptic characteristics of the grape. After fermentation, a long stay on the noble scum follows.Pigato has a golden yellow color due to maceration. The nose is intense and fresh, with fruity and floral notes. The sip is dry, soft and full-bodied, with excellent flavor, persistent finish with a pleasant bitter aftertaste.
