Tenuta Baroni Campanino

The Baroni Campanino is located in the hamlet of Santa Maria di Lignano, on the rolling hills of Assisi, inside the Park of Monte Subasi. The company is relatively young, being born in 2006 at the will of the Baroni Campanino family. The hectares of property are 36 of which 10 are planted in vineyard. Campanian barons cultivate native grape varieties such as Sangiovese, Trebbiano, Colorino and Malvasia that give birth to wines that tell a story. Vineyards are located at 900 meters above sea level on clayey, limestone and limestone, enjoying an excellent microclimate. From now on, the Baroni Campanino have decided to exclude from the working practices any chemical, so as to preserve the health of the soil, and to allow the integration of agriculture with local flora and fauna and biodiversity. The management of vineyards follows the principles of biodynamics, refusing the use of herbicides, pesticides and chemical fertilizers by increasing the gap between rows and giving a set of herbal teas, thus seeking to increase the biodiversity of flora and fauna in the vineyard and to fortify the natural defenses of the vine. In the cellar you work in craftsmanship, indigenous yeasts are used and do not control the temperatures, do not filter and no sulfur is added before bottling. Baroni Campanino produce a wide selection of wines, including a series of references to yeasts, but all tell the territory that gave them life.
