Sam Vinciullo

Sam Vinciullo

Sam Vinciullo is one of the most interesting young Australians, and his winery is located in Cowaramup, about 15 minutes north of the city of Margaret River, in Western Australia. Sam Vinciullo, after finishing his enology studies in Adelaiede, started working in wineries all over the world for a few years, until in 2010 he landed on Etna to the short of Cornelissen, where he really began to understand how to grow vines and work with the own environment. In 2013 he made his first wine in his garage with the "SRC" label (this represented Sam, Rori and Cinzia). Unfortunately his financial partner, a powerful Sicilian businessman, forgoes business. In 2015 he decides to return to Australia to open his company. Sam is faithful to the philosophy of "Less is more": no systemic products, no added sulfites, no filtration, no additives, no wood. The vines, which are found on mostly sandy soils with varying amounts of gravel, have an age ranging from 21 years to 34 years, and are planted in Shiraz (Syrah), Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc. Chenin Blanc and Chardonnay. All wines are made with spontaneous fermentation, without the use of sulfur or additions, no fining and no filtration, and no aging in wood. Sam gives us wines of extraordinary cleanliness, crystalline finesse and deep recognisability from these first years
