The Moralizzatore is located in Galliera Veneta, in the province of Padua, between the slopes of the Vicenza hills. The company was founded in 2010, from an idea of Andrea, with a degree in pharmacy in the pocket and that takes care of the commercial side, and Enrico who after the degree course in Veterinary Medicine, takes care of the vines and winemaking in the cellar. The two friends share a strong desire to produce natural and biodynamic wines with an authentic heart, and to do this they have a coherent approach to the land that hosts the vineyards, and the courage to listen to Nature. Their dream begins with the rent of three hectares of vineyard, partly located in Mason Vicentino and planted in cabernet sauvignon, and partly placed in Faro Vicentino, where instead are grown merlot, pinot noir and some varieties of indigenous grapes, including vespaiola and groppello. Both vineyards rise on soils characterized by the presence of volcanic-basaltic rocks. Among the rows do not allow the use of chemical pesticides and herbicides, instead they take advantage of what nature itself offers, such as the perennial grassing and the green manure that help to improve the ecosystem of the vineyard and the fertility of the land in addition, the entomofauna which populates vineyards is an integral and fundamental part of microbiological and soil fertility processes. In the cellar, we try to intervene as little as possible so as not to squander the good from the vineyard. The de-stemming is manual, the vinification is the work of the only indigenous yeasts, and the refinements always take place in used barrels, to make the wine mature and not cover the essence of the terroir. The wines that are born reflect the passing of the seasons and the environment from which the grapes come.
