Josko Gravner, is a winemaker whose name is intimately linked to that Collio of Gorizia that he himself contributed to making famous throughout the world through a radical change in the way of thinking about wine. His A journey began long ago, when at the age of 16 he began to make wine from the grapes of the vineyards planted around his house. The use of steel first, and then of the barrique, mark a road that crosses most of the 80s and 90s, up to the turning point and the introduction in the cellar of the amphorae from Georgia, from which the name of its wines. His company is located in Oslavia, a small fraction of Friuli Venezia Giulia. A company that is very attentive and sensitive to the Earth, to its moon phases, to the seasons and, which nurtures a deep respect for nature. The Ribolla Gialla and Pignolo vineyards are located between 150 and 270 meters above sea level which Josko works exclusively by hand, with unparalleled care and passion, which finds its roots in the profound sensitivity and respect it nurtures towards of the ecosystem in which we live. In the cellar, the wines are vinified with long maceration on the skins in order to enhance not only the grapes but the whole territory itself.
