Lying on the northern slope of Etna, between 650 and 780 meters, the company has owned 15 hectares of vineyards, framed by hazel groves and olive groves. In 2005, Giuseppe Russo renews her, giving her father's name and preserving the heritage of this family of his native Passopisciaro, one of the villages in the center of the rebirth of the great red wines of Etna. Joseph and his collaborators cultivate vineyards under organic management, according to the peasant tradition: the one that has allowed old vineyards even a century to arrive until today. And so the old plant sapling, along with new rows, are mainly hand-worked: pruning, plowing, hoeing, ligation, sulfur and copper. In October, during the harvest, the grapes are selected carefully and are vinified separately in different districts, each one extraordinarily rich in aromas, colors and vibrations.
