Frukstereo was born from a collaboration between Karl Sjöström and Mikael Nypelius, who after many years spent in the restaurant business as waiters, managers and sommeliers, decide to start a company for the distribution of natural wines in Sweden. In the same period they create Frukstereo for the production of cider with fruit from gardens and orchards abandoned in the countryside around Malmö. A production process that involves the collection, crushing and pressing of different types of fruit, fermentation mostly plastic vats, and end of fermentation in the bottle in order to produce bubbles in a natural way. Precisely because of this similarity with the process of producing ancestral methods, they decided to call their products "fruit pét-nats", but they did not stop there, since they even started to specify the type of pét-nat, based on type of fruit with which it is produced. We can find for example the "plum pét-nat", the "cherry pét-nat", the "apple-grape pét-nat" because the beautiful thing of Frukstereo is that it does not make ciders only with apples, but with all the fruit that they find, in fact, the fruit they collect themselves and 50% comes from private gardens and farms abandoned in Skåne, and the other 50% from goods unsold by farmers. We just have to try Frukstereo's fresh and refreshing fruit pét-nats.
