Dalzocchio farm is located in Rovereto, in the province of Trento, in a fantastic hilly location, surrounded by mountains and Lake Garda. The family has always been viticultural since 1979 when Elizabeth's father Riccardo bought two beautiful acres of Pinot Noir vineyards, immersed in a suggestive landscape of mountains, forests, oak trees and coniferous plants. At first though, Riccardo did not win the grapes but sold them to a famous spumante Trentino company for the production of classic method. Things change at the end of the 1990's when Elisabetta entered the company, leaving her work as an oenologist, and devoted soul and body to Pinot Nero. Vineyards have an average age ranging from 10 to 40 years and are conducted In biological respecting harmony with the surrounding landscape. Grape harvest is done manually, cluster by bunch, so you only have the best grapes. In the cellar, vinification takes place spontaneously in open oak sauce and refinement is in oak barrels of 228, placed in the old rural farm, for 18 months. The Pinot Noir Black in Dalzocchio is magnificent, produced according to tradition.
