Val-Frison is a small recolant manipulator cellar located in Ville Sur Arce in the Cotes des Bar, one of the five Champagne areas. Managed by Thierry and Valerie who for years have given their grapes to the local cooperative until they have decided to start producing their champagne with the intent of creating a convincing and exciting product. Their vineyards are raised to Pinot Noir and Chardonnay and grow on the characteristic ground of champagne made of marble precipitate. Thierry practices biodynamics, and in the cellar uses wine vinegar to give more wine structure. The production is only 5000 bottles divided into three labels; Champagne Goustan obtained from Pinot Nero in purity, Lalore, a Blanc de Blancs on its own Chardonnay grapes and finally Champagne Elion a pinot Nero red dauve. All their Champagne are unmatched, of great personality, powerful and personal.
