The company of Daniele Coutandin is located in Perosa Argentina, a small village on the slopes of Val Chisone, near Turin. A family-run business where there is no solution between family management and cellar activity. It was born in 1995 when the parents of Daniele, Giuliano and Laura acquire one hectare of land with the desire to produce wine and safeguard the ancient indigenous varieties. In 2008 he took over the company Daniele, and began his journey starting with respect for nature, for the territory, in order to obtain a wine that is pure juice of grapes. The vineyards are in a wonderful place at 800 m.m. on rocky and iron terrain, and even in winter they enjoy the benefits of solar heat. A real heroic viticulture with vines planted with autochthonous vines with names almost unknown, Avanà, Avarengo, Chatus, Becuet. Minimal intervention in the vineyard, soil inertia, no plowing, no chemicals. Here and there, among the rows, capers grow, wild fennel and figs of india. Sometimes Daniel sits down and speaks to his vineyards, and the plants thank him by paying him back with health, vigor and juicy bunches, rich in all the substances that make a great wine. In cellar Daniele, apply only spontaneous vinification, use only native yeasts, and do not use sulphites. Daniele translates only 2000 bottles a year.
