Corte Sant'Alda is located in Località Fioi, in Mezzane di Sotto, in the heart of Valpolicella. The company is led by Marinella Camerani, together with her husband Cesar and her daughter Francesca. Conversion to the company's biodynamics occurs in 1985. After a bad harvest, Marinella feels the need to develop an idea that is more and more related to the balance of the ecosystem that would allow her to bring into the cellar a healthy and mature grape. To achieve its purpose it abandons the most widely used breeding system in valpolicella, the pergola, and replaces it with Guyot, and above all increases the plant density by bringing it to 10000 screws per hectare. Marinella is limited to accompanying her vineyards in a natural way, they follow her, listen to her trying to interpret the needs of each plant. His treatments are made with natural products and only when they are needed to remove the cause more than to combat the effects. Each Corte Sant'Alda wine comes from a single vineyard, which Marinella judges to be the best, for display, type of soil, just to produce that wine. In the wine cellar Marinella, wine does not, but it is born, the son of the small daily choices since the fertilization of the barbatelle, from spontaneous fermentation at the time of bottling. Gorgeous wines, mirror of terroir and Marinella's philosophy with its relationship with nature.
