Alea Rosa by Andrea Occhipinti is a splendid rosé wine made from red grapes. DAfines for 6 months in steel / cement tanks and at least 2 months in bottle. It comes in a cherry pink colored glass. The nose evolves into fruity notes of cherry and strawberry, and floral hints of dog rose. In the mouth it is juicy, pleasant, with a nice freshness and minerality.

Alea Rosa - Andrea Occhipinti

Alea Rosa by Andrea Occhipinti is a splendid rosé wine made from red grapes. After the manual harvest, the vinification is spontaneous with only indigenous yeasts in small cement tanks, with maceration on the skins for one night. Refines for 6 months in steel / cement tanks and at least 2 months in the bottle. Alea Rosa appears in a cherry pink glass. The nose evolves into fruity notes of cherry and strawberry, and floral scents of wild rose. In the mouth it is juicy, pleasant, with a nice freshness and minerality.

Service

It is advisable to taste it at a temperature of 8/10 ° in tulip goblets. Daily wine but left to rest in the cellar a few years can have a wonderful evolution.

Pairing

Great with a dish of fish starters, to try with a pork rib dish.

The company Andrea Occhipinti is located in Gradoli, on the shores of Lake Bolsena, the largest volcanic lake in Europe. Andrea is well acquainted with these areas by having studied as a student during her Laure Agraria course and has been the subject of her graduation thesis. Andrea started his project in 2004 by acquiring 6 hectares of vineyards that are on a hill in a beautiful location, with excellent sun exposure and lake microclimate allowing for a qualitatively superior production.
