Cellar: Altare Nicholas
Nicholas Altare represents a new generation of winemakers that combines tradition and innovation. Raised at the court of Ferdinando Principiano, he has developed a deep knowledge of viticulture and winemaking. His decision to bottle for the first time in 2016 is the result of constant commitment and a genuine passion for wine. His 2.5-hectare vineyard, located in the best exposures of Dogliani, in the San Luigi area, benefits from an ideal microclimate and rich soils, which contribute to producing high-quality grapes. Altare dedicates himself carefully to the care of the vines and the selection of the grapes, ensuring that each bottle reflects the unique character of the territory. The three wines he produces are the result of this passion and expertise. Each wine has its own identity, authentically expressing the characteristics of the Dogliani terroir. The pursuit of quality is evident in every sip, making his wines appreciated by both industry experts and simple enthusiasts. With his young age and the wealth of experience he has accumulated, Nicholas Altare is certainly a name to keep an eye on in the Italian wine scene.
